Bilot and SAP launch European wide cooperation – Bilot becomes SAP hybris commerce cloud provider

SAP SE (NYSE: SAP), the world’s largest enterprise software vendor, and internationally growing Finnish software and IT services company Bilot have agreed on cloud delivery of hybris commerce solutions, based on the SAP MCaaS (Managed Cloud as a Service) model.

For customers, the new delivery model means smaller investments, lower risk and quicker time to new markets. “Our cloud deliveries can be bundled with Bilot’s innovative SmartChannel TM add-ons for SAP. We have condensed over thousand of man-years of experience of enterprise solutions related to sales, marketing and analytics into these add-ons”, says Mika Tanner, CEO of Bilot Oy.

Bilot is a leading vendor of end-to-end solutions for commerce and analytics for SAP. hybris is the leading platform for omni-channel commerce, as recognized by Gartner and Forrester reports. hybris plays a central role in SAP’s Customer Engagement and Commerce cloud suite.

“Bilot’s key strengths are their extensive experience in enterprise-grade, global commerce solutions and their hands-on approach to matching SAP’s latest innovations with customer needs. Customer feedback has been outstanding. Bilot is an excellent partner in implementing SAP’s cloud strategy in Finland and abroad”, says Marika Auramo, Head of Innovation, SAP Nordics and Baltics.

“2014 was a year of change at Bilot. With a 25% increase in headcount, we focused heavily on R&D and transforming our business to proactively align with the industry disruptions ahead”, continues Tanner.

As part of the company’s internationalization strategy, Bilot established presence in Poland in 2014 and the first customer deliveries started immediately. The Europe-wide hybris cloud agreement is an extension to Bilot’s existing reseller agreement with SAP and further strengthens the company’s global presence.
